    GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF ROLE:

    IND Consultant II Wealth – PA – Technology is responsible for converting client requirements into analysis artifacts and to design test strategy, scope and plans for Aon’s proprietary EQA System along with the different tools developed in the VBA Excel/Access. The Consultant II independently delivers clear and accurate analysis, test plans, and SOPs of complex modules/activities which accurately reflect the technical capacities of the system and address the requirements of the client along with participating in different Automation drives and implementations of innovative ideas by self-learning new techs as per requirements to provide best solutions. The Consultant II is also responsible for coordinating and coaching the Analysts I and II on configuration/test execution/process flows and new senior Analyst on analysis/test planning of the technology platform for a client team’s service-aligned benefits system. This can take the form of a new client implementation, an extension of services for a client, or an enhancement of current services. The Consultant II is proficient in the functional and technical knowledge of the aligned service and delivers the responsibilities of the role independently with minimal support from the aligned Senior Manager.

    Responsible For

    The Colleague provides high quality administration support for internal and external clients by:
    • Provides service specific expertise for Data, Foundation, and Systems Analysis to create comprehensive analysis specifications, and incorporate recommended updates to analysis based on review.
    • Provides support to Senior Manager in conducting Gap/Risk & Impact analysis of Change Order/defects and doing pricing analysis & effort estimation for related Config/Data/PCS pieces
    • Influences the solution and design of Change Order/modules using prior experience to develop the most effective and efficient solution
    • Provides support to new client implementation, an extension of services for a client, or an enhancement of current services.
    • Ability to understand resources (tools, databases, associates) available to support self and team.
    • Completes requirement hand-offs from Senior Manager and converts client business requirements to clear technical requirements and provides clarification(s) as required.
    • Participate in iteration/project kickoffs and project status meetings
    • Ability to learn and apply in-house methodology.
    • Apply relational database concepts
    • Assists with the deployment (or migration) of new system updates to the production environment.
    • Responsible for converting client requirements into analysis artifacts
    • Delivers clear analysis, test plans, and SOPs which accurately reflect the technical capacities of the system and address the requirements of the client.
    • Transition & Ongoing Support
    • Ensures smooth transition to production.
    • Completes all technical documentation updates, completes production simulations and production verifications on all new work within iteration until it is determined to be stable,
    • Supports Senior Manager to complete one-time handoff meeting with all interested parties to turn over stable work projects to Operations for ongoing support
    • Participate in onshore meetings, Status Meetings along with the service aligned Manager

    Specific Skills

    • Bachelor’s degree computer science, Maths or equivalent work experience in an analytical area.
    • B.Tech (any specialization), BCA, MCA is preferred.
    • Preferred relevant experience in US/Canada (preferred) Benefits Domain and Benefits Administration.
    • Strong knowledge in VBA Access/Excel along with SQL.
    • Can write complex code in VBA to develop tools and achieve required results.
    • Knowledge of system testing and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
    • Ability to translate client requirements and/or legislation into system specifications and test plans;
    • Strong analysis skills related to service specific tasks and troubleshoot complex system defects and errors.
    • Ability to learn and apply in-house methodology;
    • Ability to understand resources (tools, databases, associates) available to support you in your responsibilities;
    • Proven skills to use/coach others on technical and proprietary tools required to configure, test, debug, monitor, and report on system specifications.
    • Deep knowledge of system capabilities, functionality, and development life cycle.
    • Ability to coach and coordinate the work of others when balancing multiple tasks.
    • Works with Senior Manager to identify training/information sharing needs
    • Conducts info shares and remains available for clarification on topic
    • Actively participate in general technical/service specific forums.

    Educational Requirements

    Required education and certifications critical for the role- Graduate / Postgraduate
